So far I have not been in class. I missed two days. I feel like I am going to change my approach to my topic. I will probably give a lecture about indigenous culture. Most know about the Aztecs and Mayans. Just heard the name before but not know the whole story. Besides the Aztecs and Mayan, I want to explore about different group of people that we probably never heard of. I remember being presented with the information but I lost that memories. So now I have to do research to get the most accurate information. How many people I share, just me. I intend to present it to whoever is in the presentation, meaning in the class.

What does it mean to identify as indigenous or relate with it? During the break I attended Raza College Day mainly focusing on latinx culture and CE'ENI Indigenous Conference which focused on the indigenous pride, identity, culture and etc.. What I learn and knew previously the stories, people were willing to share through their experiences about growing up with a culture many did not understand. Workshops.... The connection I have is with Fahrenheit 451 and how society tries so hard to hide and change others around them. Next I will be conducting more research about indigenous identity and culture.

pgs. 114-122 1.Why did the Hound attack Montag? The Hounds wanted to stop Montag. He is a criminal after he killed Beatty. The hounds tried to inject Montag with something that caused him numbness. 2. How did Montag defend himself? Montag was quick to turn the flamethrower to the hound. He burned it until be saw the metal light with red yellow colors. 3. What did Montag realize about Beatty? How can Beatty know so much about what is wrong with book, he can even do a whole presentation. Most important Beatty wanted to die. 4. Where did Montag go? Prediction: Montag will run from the community he lives in. He will find other people that think like him, someone like Clarisse. Fahrenheit 451 is like The Giver where the protagonist realized the society was brainwashed. He did everything possible to escape the society he lived in. Either he lives the rest of his life hiding, he could preach to others the importance of book, why it was keep hidden, the purpose, he dies or a complete blur and wants the reader to think for themselves what would happen to Montag. 

Why Montag turned the flamethrower on Beatty? Montag killed Beatty with a flamethrower, he wanted to protect himself from being arrested, even worst be killed. He was also threating Faber's life. Beatty was also mocking him, for trying to "preach" so calls Beatty. Make others want to read books and poems. That Montag was a fool of himself to think this way, a total fool of himself. Beatty was the representation of the society, he wanted things to maintain the same, especially a certain way. Reading books would have made them think from themselves for once in their lives. We learn that Nick is invited to Gatsby's great party  There were see that he was the only one that got an invitation.  While the other one did not but they told many different stories about Gatsby. We meet Tom who does not seem a good person. The cousin Daisy who is very out going and her friend. What the narrator finds the most mysterious is Gabtsy.
