  • What does it mean to identify as indigenous or relate with it?

  • During the break I attended Raza College Day mainly focusing on latinx culture and CE'ENI Indigenous Conference which focused on the indigenous pride, identity, culture and etc..

  • What I learn and knew previously the stories, people were willing to share through their experiences about growing up with a culture many did not understand. Workshops....

  • The connection I have is with Fahrenheit 451 and how society tries so hard to hide and change others around them.

  • Next I will be conducting more research about indigenous identity and culture.

Table Reading with Questions

1.The novel Fahrenheit 451 begins : “It was a pleasure to burn.” Why does Ray Bradbury start the novel in this way? Why might it be more pleasurable to burn books rather than read them? Ray Bradbury might starts with this way as a unique starting. Gives an interest to the readers about burning books than to read it. Why? Just Why? 2. In the opening scene, why are the books compared to birds? Could be the bird is the representation of freedom. As read so far people don't have much freedom. 3.
